He lies so well on tv.

I suppose he feels that if people are watching his crappy infomercials see his eyes, they won't buy his crap guitar, amp and dvd's!

I'm 32 and never heard of this guy until "AFTER" Johnny Cash died!
He's dressed all in black and tries to imitate the way Johnny Cash talked!

Eyes tell no Lies! He may be good at "strumming" a damn guitar, but he'll never pick like Hank Snow.

What does your age have to do with anything?

Estaban has been on TV several years before Johnny Cash died. About 8 years ago he had a drastically different infomercial selling a blueburst electric-acoustic guitar with instructions. His teachings back then were to play different styles of music; rock, blues, funk. Except they all sounded the same!!! I think he still had the hat and glasses.

Oh, go bash!

I suspect, that this guy has probably done some good.

His hardware, I cannot vouche for. Somehow I feel he has taught axl rose how to play a guitar. ;)

my dad bought his guitar set and amp from an HSN infomercial for me as a surprise. we talked about it and i carefully asked him if it'd hurt his feelings if we sent it back. at least he was only out of 9 bucks... HSN must get a lot of returns because they were pretty cool about it. the guitar was junk.

his left eye is fvcked because he got hit in the face with a baseball, that's probably why he doesn't take them off. also his right eye has something wrong with it from an accident

He was a manufactured celebrity for HSN. He's a great guitarist, but nothing special stands out about him. HSN needed someone to sell their cheap guitars, and they found Esteban. The rest is history.

Watching the HSN thing with him now.

He can play but I'm thinking the package is crap, I wonder how good his instruction DVDs are though?

Not that I'd buy any of it.

Joy Mangano, the lady that sells hangers, owns the Esteban brand.

I think you'd be best off looking elsewhere, even for the DVDs ;)

Ultimately, you'd be best off with a teacher...
But there's a number of websites, such as WholeNote (which has an instruction sub-category with links to places like http://www.markmusicman.com/ and http://www.hotfrets.com/)
I dunno as far as DVDs.
