Anyone have any good recommendations?

Right now I use an aeropress exclusively with a burr grinder and fresh roasted coffee.

I am looking to step up to the plate (somewhat) and buy an espresso machine. The problem is, there doesn't seem to be a fullproof bet under 400 dollars.

I was thinking http://www.amazon.com/Gaggia-14101-C...presso+machine.

This one also has great reviews, but I am reluctant to buy a Mr Coffee brand item, http://www.amazon.com/Mr-Coffee-BVMC...presso+machine.

The nespresso machine have great reviews, but I would rather not invest in a pod system.

I will be mostly using this to make Americanos and Affogatos.

One can find a La pavoni Europicolla for sale occasionally under 500. Takes some practice but its phenominal.

I also have a superauto and while my wife loves it I still make my morning coffee like my nonna made for me 20 years ago.

Really though a 20 dollar Moka with some Bustello is good enough for 97 percent of the population.
