espns 25000th sports center episode is coming on soon

I was flipping around and noticed it was coming on as soon as the game is over and tv guide online says its the 25000th episode so WATCH IT

Seriously though...who cares. ESPN is so shameless. They are the 1st to pat themselves on the back whenever they can.....

They story on the former Bills player who had a heart transplant in New York on Sept. 11 (and all the events leading up to and surrounding the transplant) was actually very interesting.

I agree though that ESPN needs some real competition. CNN/SI tried to go head-to-head for awhile, but it was obvious they just didn't have the same pop-culture appeal. Fox Sports probably has the best shot given their amazing regional sports networks. But I'm not sure anybody will ever be able to compete with ESPN on a national basis.
