This should be good. They're bringing it back, and changing up the rules a bit. Hopefully it will be better than when Comedy Central did it.

Awesome, I loved that show. And it looks like it should be more exciting without all the lame wedges.

The new show will also introduce an experimental class, which could play out as a series of isolated competitions and demonstrations. A cross between a robotic circus and, as Roski puts it, "a science fair gone mad," the entries include a proposed autonomous robot race and walkers bred for combat, one of which weighs 800 pounds. But the final decision as to which contests make it on the air will have to wait until the competition is held and the footage is edited.

Sounds awesome.

Getting rid of the boring ass wedgers is a good idea. They were like the San Antonio Spurs of the BattleBots world. Always winning, but boring as hell to watch.
