The playoffs are about getting hot at the right time, the Braves sometimes would be hot in the early rounds (division/league championship) but cool off in the World Series. Also the Braves didn't have a dominant closer like Mariano Rivera. In 1991, Game7 could've gone either way but Braves lose in extra innings. In 96 the Braves are up 2-0 on the Yankees & leading in Game3 & could've easily made it 3-0 with no momentum for the Yankees but Wohlers gives up that home run & momentum is completely reversed.

baseball's hall of fame should probably add more inductees per year, what with the doubling of the number of teams and the population of the US since 1955

who were the other two expansion teams between 1955 and 65? i already know the mets and astros...

Angels started in 1961 as did the Texas Rangers though they were really the Senators.

i got no problems with the first 11 on the list. i'll put a * for bonds 😛

fvcking manny rameriez, intentionally sat out of a game when they need him and then asked to be traded...again. what a douche.

Personality-wise, they're both asses.
But they definitely have enough talent to make HOF.
Ramirez is more questionable.

i know their both prima donnas. personally i rather they both not make HOF, but that ain't happening.

Is Ken Griffey Jr. a lock for the HOF? He WAS great, but he hasn't been anything special since he went to the Reds.

Edit: Heh, they're already predicting David Wright as a future HOFer.

Considering he was named to the all century team....

Leaving Thome out is an insult to a really classy player with huge power, tons of walks, and at least 3-4 seasons left in him.

I also say that if Julio Franco can last another 3 years he should be allowed in, especially considering his "age" is in Dominican years, just like Soriano.
