About freaking time they got that buffoon off the airwaves.

No link, they just announced it on Sportscenter.

I guess that white blood he had in him didn't matter to ESPN.

Well, he was universally loathed for being a loudmouthed, clueless, incompetent fool. He should have been fired for that long ago and wasn't. So it appears that this might be due to the racist remarks he made about Tony Romo late last year.

Did ANYBODY like him? He was just awful, and you could tell Berman and Tom Jackson couldn't stand working with him.

Edit: And I think Steve Young was legitimately scared of him.

good. he was terrible.

i did like, however, how he defended t.o... he was the only one who was willing to explain t.o.'s point of view. no one else gives him a chance (maybe because he doesn't really deserve one, but still).

I'm a huge Cowboys fan, but every time Irvin opened his mouth it made me cringe. I think this is a positive for ESPN.

Irvin and TO should do their own show....except they would bitch to the producers each of them wasn't getting enough air time.
