ESPN's Top 50
Looks as if ESPN's early favorite for a title run is Wake Forest this year. I have to say that it isn't entirely unattainable for Wake to get into the Final Four, but I believe NC to be a better favorite at this point.
My Kentucky Wildcats are poised at number 12. Although not a bad spot to be this early on, atleast we're in front of Louisville (no. 13) for the time being. Their saying about UK is dead on. Although we have one of, if not the best recruiting class in the nation, you can't expect them to play on the level that Carmello did when he was a freshman. We also have Hayes leading our team, which is nothing but a great thing. Hayes was the backbone of our team last year, and his role on the team is similar to Ben Wallace of the Pistons. Now don't get me wrong, he does not have the talent that Wallace has, but the wins would come a lot harder if he weren't under the basket.
Where does your team stand at this early stage?
