Damn that site has gotten more and more crowded!!
how much more can they put on their main page??

i guess ill be using CBS.Sportsline.com

i continue to boycott espn until they take that stupid "cold pizza" off the air. or football season starts. whatever comes first.

and i agree, it is getting ridiculous.

I stopped using ESPN when they starting using that full motion video. Talk about bloatware at its finest, sigh.

I don't think ESPN is all that bad, but it would be a lot better if they didn't have that stupid MSN crap. That menu bar that MSN adds onto the regular ESPN site takes up like half of the page space. If they did away with that, they could go with a different design or spread things out a bit more to make it look less cluttered. What does annoy me though is that ESPN Motion thing. If I haven't gotten it by now, I probably don't care about it. At least they moved it off to the side now so that I can see the top story right away without having to click off that stupid ESPN Motion ad.

The thing that pisses me off is the "commercials" they have. It isn't exactly a pop-up and if you x out of it it closes the whole browser. You have to click the "close" button. It also takes up the entire screen.

No clutter, just news 🙂
I stopped going to ESPN.com when they sold out to MSN.

I can even remember when Starwave produced ESPN.com way back in the day...

Yes. Whoever thought up those stupid things should be shot.....along with the guy that thought popups were a good idea.....granted, Firebird takes care of the popups for me, but still.

I installed it because I thought it might be interesting...and sometimes it is, but more often than not, it's just a pain. And their commericals on every page...they really get on my nerves.
