ESPN College Football Bottom 10 ranking

Have you guys ever read this list? I just think it is hillarious - especially the comments that they post when you click on the had plenty to say link.

Discuss.

And please remember #5 is a joke position meant to highlight a good team that played horribly the last week.

I love it, I check the list every Tuesday.

I think Miami might get beat by FSU, I didn't think the 'canes played that good against WVU or Florida. VT seems to be a more balanced and better team this year from the Big East.

My football computer program says Florida State should win by 4.8 on a neutral field. Add roughly 3 points for FSU being at home, and they should win by 8. Note: the computer has an average 10 point error this early in the season, so it is conceivable that Miami will win. Me personally I think it will be FSU by 3.
SU will show the country just how much of a fraud VT is this week. Go Cuse!
I think VT will win by 7. Didn't 0 and 5 North Carolina nearly beat SU? My computer program say VT by 11 + 3 for being at home = 14.

What's the output for the Iowa vs. OSU game.

I think that this could be one of the best college games this year.

What about the ND v Pitt?
Follow my link above and subtract the two numbers by the teams. It says KU by 12 - 3 = 9. I've got to believe that KUs streak has to end sometime - but it will be after Colorado.

It says Pitt by 7 + 3 = 10. Sounds about right to me.
What's the output for the Iowa vs. OSU game
It says Iowa by 1. But this will be an OSU home game - meaning that OSU should get some help. Thus OSU by 2. Either way it'll be a tossup - possibly the outcome will come down to one big play or one bad ref call. Note: this game is two weeks away, its prediction may change dramatically by next week.

I want to discuss the bottom 10 in this thread. Who do you think will finish dead last?

Looks like Notre Dame got bumped from the list
The #5 spot is always a one week joke. Notre Dame had their chance in the spotlight and now it is CUs turn for the week.

SMU or Army. Just a gut feeling. I could probably provide a decent argument as to why Army might finish dead last.

Gee, perhaps, someone else will have to show how much of a fraud VT is... 😛

The sad thing is even though Middle Tenn State is 0-5 they could still win their conference. You never know with that suck ass conference.

Yikes, two LA teams at the top.

Where's Indiana?
Well that dual LA matchup was a funny one. Too bad those are never on TV. The bottom two teams in the nation fighting for last place has to be a great game. And it was - a high scoring game with both teams tied when there was 2 minutes left in the game. But one thing bothers me. The winner, LA Monroe was moved completely off the bottom 10 ranking for barely beating a team with no losses. New Bottom 10 I think ESPN goofed on that one. Also LA Lafayette should be #1 since they just lost to another unwinning team. I don't think Buffalo deserves it even though they have the nation's longest losing streak - a loss to LA Monroe is even more embarassing.

Indiana moved up on the bottom 10 waiting list with another loss. There are just too many 1 win teams to rank them all.
