esata mode on MSI 975x

I have a MSI 975x Platinim Power up edition. My esata HD are plugged in the esata port.
Device manager show the Intel serial ATA controller listed under the IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers.

How can I tell I'm running in esata to get the max use of the HD?
I ran some utility that says my HD isn't run at it max setting. The Utility is Sandra.

I just checked my HD with a Utility called HD_Speed.
It reported in read mode 77MB Bytes/sec and in burst rate 232mb Bytes/sec

How does that compare to 3.0g bit/sec?
