eSATA external enclosure recommendations?

Bought an external 1TB Hitachi drive and the enclosure stinks. It's constantly power cycling during idle and it's just annoying. So I'm looking to take the drive out and put it in an eSATA enclosure.

I see a lot say they only support up to 500GB. Is that really the case? Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks!

Would like it to be 3gb/sec, don't care about Firewire and no or small power brick is appreciated.

Thanks!

I tried an Ultra once, but it sucks. Badly finished, noisy fan, hard to handle.

And by the time you finally can attach your HD to the thing, you could as well have popped the case side and plugged it on the MB. I know it's not your case, but just to illustrate. So, although I cannot tell you which one to get, I can tell you which one you shouldn't.

I intend to test a Scythe Connect All soon, a little docking station that fits a SATA and an Ide at the same time. I still don't know it, but it looks nice. Thermaltake also has some nice stuff in terms of enclosures.

Bear in mind that you'll void your warranty. With that said, check out macgurus.com, they have some really nice but pricey external enclosures but I think they are mostly firewire. I will check out other places and post back.
