Error with Instalation of Game

Hi guys,

I was trying to install this game in my PC, already tried it a few times (instalation) ,

but I keep getting this "CRC Error". No clue what this means.

do refer to the link:-

CRC Error

That error usually means that the source installation file is corrupt. If you are installing from a retail CD, make sure the CD is clean and is not scratched. If the disc is damaged, you'll probably need to get a replacement from the retailer where you purchased the game.

If you are installing from a downloaded image, go buy the game. 😉

You can tell generally if the CD is a home built copy. This report gives a pretty thorough explanation of what happens with a Cyclic Redundancy Check error. Pay particular attention to the paras on CDs.

CRC

You might try copying the entire CD to a temporary folder on your hard drive, then install from there.

Try cleaning the disk, my Halo game wouldn't install, and I was quite surprised that just washing it and wiping it with a napkin fixed it.

Forehead oil for the WIN! (eeeeewwww!!)

hehe seriously, rub your finger on your forehead then rub scratches out. Car polish works too.

Taking a can of compressed air to the CD drive wouldn't hurt either.
