error when trying open task manager

i have no idea right off the bat, 🙁 makes me wish i had a vista pc around to see if taskmgr even exists still.. how did you goto open task manager in vista? crtl alt del-> task manager option. or right click on taskbar -> taskmanager? or did you add a "run" prompt, and then type taskmgr? i assume vista can preinstalled on the hp, its not an "unactivated" version.

did you install any software on your own and then have the problem? like in this case below

Well i have Vista HP X86 and task manager works fine for me.. mebe i should e-mail you a copy of my task manager outa my system folder... Wanna do that??

put it in you windows system32 folder, i just took it outa there and i tested it and it works fine, i hope it works for u too...
