Error when searching within messages - needs fixing

Search for any special characters like #, $, %

I was looking for $ and it gives an application error. Let me know if you need screenshot, but I'm pretty sure everyone will get it.

"Search Category" (on thread level) at least gives a friendly user error and page:
"Your search contained ignored words, ignored words are words like a,and,to,between. Please re-construct your search without these ignored words."

"Search these messages" just blows up.

It's not about getting no results for searching <= 2 chars though. It's about error handling. The page shouldn't blow up when it searches for a character - it should say "Sorry, but you've entered an invalid search string" or something like that.

So sorry. I misunderstood. And here I thought I could actually point to an answer, albeit an unsatisfactory one. 🙁 Do I have it right now - you don't care that it won't search for those characters, you're only unhappy with the form the error message takes?

No need for the sad face. Turn that frown upside down. But yup, you got it. It's just a case that's not handled. Easy fix 🙂
