error when opening an archive

On the computer there are several archives, one of them with very important information on work. Today I couldn't open it, Winrar has given that mistake - Packed data CRC failed in volume name. The volume is corrupt. How to recover corrupt rar file?
 
1. pull a good copy from your backups that i'm sure you were faithfully creating
2. select the file in winrar and click the 'Repair' button and hope someone turned on the 'recovery record' option
3. select the 'keep broken files' option and hope for the best
4. get your resume up to date
 
does this happen with other files of the same type? if so the file may be good and the processor that created the fie is bad. Been there done that.
