It has finally got too annoying, i just tried to change my avatar, clicked the update profile, and was then presented with an error report, followed by a message saying IE would have to restart. I also get this with most buttons i press on dabs.com and some others, but dabs is the worst.
It started after I had some trouble with some adware and trojans, i think it was md.exe and mdm.exe that were in my windows folder, i manually deleted them. Was this a good idea? I can't be bothered to spend £50 on av software, i never have any problems, i only use hotmail for email, i'm on dial-up. Spywareguard and spywareblaster seem to keep most things out. (Maybe one of those could be causing it? i only installed them after the problem with the trojans).
FYI: IE6 SP1, Windows XP Home SP1.
