Trying to help diagnose an error for a relative. At every start up they get this error.

C:\Windows\system32\spool\Drivers\W32x86\3\LXCFtime.dll

Did a google searcg and everything came up as a trojan or something. Any help would be appreciated. This is for windows vista and occured after install of lexmark printer. Uninstalled,re downlaoded and installed software and its still there.

That file is installed by Lexmark - it relates to the printer - should not be a problem.

Lexmark

You can propbably do without it. But, I would uninstall the printer and reinstall it.

I belive its the z730. The drivers are downloaded direct so I assume its the newest. It was already uninstalled , redownloaded and reinstalled once.

According to your symptoms, the problem is that it has an error when loading in Startup. So, go to MSCONFIG, and Startup, and look for anything related to the Lexmark in that list. Uncheck it and then reboot. It doesn't really need to load in startup.
