Seriously, information is overrated.

My website is down now, and here's what my login page tells me:

You account has been suspended for the following reason(s):
Your account is currently suspended.
Ah, wonderful, thank you. That cleared it right up.

Incidentally, I might be looking for a new webhost in the near future. Presently:
$7.95/month, for:
.....aaaand it looks like they no longer offer the subscription plan I have.
Further information on my specific plan is restricted, as my account is suspended. :awe:

Ah, nice circular logic used there. It could have been worse, something like:

You account has been suspended for the following reason(s):

His account was suspended for hosting the Native American version of lemonparty?

That's not really an error page.
Error, notification, whatever. 😛

There was an error on their part before. Back in November, I got an e-mail (legitimate) telling me my account was suspended. However, the fact that I even received the e-mail seemed to contradict this - and my site was completely online. Customer service said that my site was placing a heavy load on their server. Either someone screwed up, or else they're using TI-83s to do their webhosting. I think I get only a few thousand hits per month. It is not a resource-intensive site.
After a bit of back-and-forth, they said they'd look into it, and the "account suspended" notice magically disappeared.

This time, well, I'm completely locked out, so they mean business.

Why? I'd bet that someone there screwed up again, or else the hamster died.

almost sounds microsoftish. I've seen Windows spit out stupid errors like that before.

Then there's this:

"A fatal error has occred: The operation completed successfully"

Huh?

"Not enough memory to close application. Please close applications to free up memory." remains my favorite.

Finally got to talk to customer service. Apparently I somehow managed to go over a 35GB/month limit?
Time to monitor bandwidth consumption for leeches or else a hack or something. It's definitely not a resource-intensive site.

So nice of them to let you know when you're going over, but I guess that's how they make money.
