I just did a clean install of windows me. I downloaded tweakui off ms website. I went in to remove the documents menu off my start menu, and I think I removed control panel from settings as well, can't remember. After I did that, control panel wasn't in my computer anymore. I found a program called "control" by doing a search and when I double clicked it, it told me it had been disabled and to contact my system administrator. I then reinstalled windows again, and during the updating system settings it told me the same thing. I need to get into control panel, but can't. I don't want to format. I've already done that once already today. The computer isn't on a network either, just one computer. Thanks for any help you can provide.

HAHAHA! I thought I had it bad with 4 formats in one day. Anyways, I fixed it. Instead of typing "contact system administrator" in search box at ms knowledge base, I typed exact error message with the words control panel after it. Low and behold the exact problem I had came up. Anyways, just glad it's fixed. Here's url in case you or anyone else comes across same problem, or just interested.
