Error message with PowerDVD?

Hi.

I just installed a Liteon 16x dvd rom drive that I had laying around. I installed the PowerDVD software that came with it and I'm getting an error when I try to play a movie. It says:

DVD Error

Error code 809000B

Copy Protection Key Exchange Failure -
Athentification Failure

This is with the movie Monsters Inc.

Now.. Monsters Inc has the Interactive Player that wants to load and when I loaded that, the movie played. I don't like the Interactive Player though.

Is this because the movie has copywrite protection? I don't want to copy the movie. I just want to play it with the software that I have. Will another version of PowerDVD enable me to play this movie?

I'd try another movie, but this is the only DVD that I own, believe it or not. I don't buy dvd's. I just rent them and don't have any rented at this time.

Suggestions?
