Ok I keep getting this error message in windows. Whenever I start up paint shop pro or ICQ it pops up with two error messages the first one saying: The JCMYK.dll file is linked to missing export MFC42.dll:6880 and the other message says that a device attached to the system is not fuctioning or something. Can anyone help me with my problem? I've ran ScanDisk and System File Checker
 
Sounds like a newly installed program has overwritten mfc42.dll with an older version of itself that those programs can't use.
 
I'd reinstall ICQ first since it's not much hassle, then PaintShop Pro if you still get the error. I bet between the two it'll go away.
