Error message in bios on ABIT KT7A-Raid motherboard

Hi! I got a ABIT KT7A-raid motherboard.
I just got it and it wont work =(
When I start up, it goes trough the memory test, then lists the IDE drivers in my computer. After that it waits for some seconds and then wright "comos checksum error on the screen" then hangs.. I cant press F1 or delete during the startup at all..
I have tested to reset the comos, taken utr the batery and so on, nothing works =(
I thought it could be my processor or something, so i borrowed my brothers, but the same thing happend.
I have tried to use another processor, another memory chip and so on.. I have tryed to take out all the IDE cables, all the PCI cards and so on, but nothing happens..
The only thing I havnt tried to change is the Graphic card. Its a Point of view Geforce 2 GTS and it works fine on my AMD 500
i have even tried to switch to another keyboard, but nothing happens...

Anyone that could help me??

It really sounds like you did not get the CMOS cleared properly. However, are you trying to boot with a HDD from a different system? Or is this a clean HDD that you still need to do a fresh load of Windows on? If it is the HDD from your old system that is still loaded with all your data, etc, then that is why it is happening. I think you should make sure that the CMOS Clear Jumper is in the correct position and that you disconnect the ATX power cord from the MB before you attempt to clear the CMOS.

I have tried to clear it several times.. by moving the jumber AND taking the batery away for an hour...

Yes.. Why would it be any diffrent if it was clean? I dont get to the boot menu anyway.. it hangs in the bios..

If you can't even get to the point of pressing delete to get into the BIOS then you need to continue the search in your hardware. If this is a new build then I would suggest you start from the beginning and remove the MB from the case. Only install the bare minimum components needed to boot; the CPU w/HSF, only one stick of RAM, the floppy drive and a video card. completely remove everything else and set the MB on the antistatic foam that it came on outside the case. Clear the CMOS using the jumper again before you hook up the ATX power to the board or any other power to other components. After this then hook the ATX Power connector back to the board, connect the floppy cable and power, and only hook up the PWR Switch connector to the board. Do not hook up any HDD or any other components! Try to boot again. If that doesn't work then it is probably the MB or the BIOS chip. There is also an outside possibility that it could be the Power supply. What size and make PS do you have?

what is the harddrive, I had the same problems with the new Western digital drive when I first got it, but cutting the first two wires of the ide cable solved it.
