Whenever I start Windows I receive the following error message as a popup:
http://clip2net.com/clip/m6907/1221703438-clip-15kb.jpg

I click 'OK' and my computer appears to work properly. How do I get rid of the message when I start mycomputer? I tried searching google for 'tuvUKExy.dll' and it didn't seem to turn up anything useful.

I think that this problem was started by some spyware that I downloaded onto my machine which infected my computer, Norton Antivirus deleted the affected file and I've had the error message ever since.

Any insights that you could offer would be most appreciated.

Yours thankfully.

Reinstall the spyware and uninstall the Norton, your PC will be faster !

j/k

Guess you should look in msconfig for startup items, or in the run folder in the registry

Look for a ref to that file in the registry, you can most likely delete the entry (you can post it here if you like).

To DrGreen2007, NAV/NIS2009 are the lightest/fastest on the market, you should take a fresh look things are very very different now.

echoing what bsobel its a piece of spyware, you can manually search the registry for it or run superantispyware and it should get rid of it

Definitely part of spyware .. google says it was part of: Vundo (Virtumondo) Related Files
Run a scan with a good program like Malware Bytes malware remover or a Vundo removal tool.

http://www.softpedia.com/get/Antivirus/VundoFix.shtml

That should clean up the registry key that is calling for it .. Or search the registry for that string
and then delete it.
