Error loading Operating System

Alright so heres what happened, I recently upgraded my motherboard, processor, and videocard. So I got it working, and booted it from my windows XP install CD and formatted my HD and installed windows. Everything worked fine until I tried retarting and it gave me an "Error loading Operating System" error again. I have a SATA RAID Driver Disk if I have to install that, but the cord for my floppy drive doesent fit into my new motherboard because instead of one pin missing, all the pins are there, but my cord has one pin blocked off.

Can anyone help me out and tell me whats wrong and how I can fix it?

-edit- Here are my specs if its needed

power supply - 350Watt 450ATX
motherboard - LanPartyUT nF4 Ultra-D
videocard - Geforce 7800GT
Processor - AMD 3500+
RAM - 2 sticks of 512 MB DDR 400

Hi, The pin hole on the cable is blocked by a little plastic pin. You can usually tease it out with a needle usually from the wire side. Just plug it in the right way with the pin out. Remember, don't put a disk in the floppy until you know its plugged in correctly. If wrong, the activity light will stay on always and the drivewill trash the disk if one was in it. Luck, Jim
