So, trying to clean up my daughter's netbook and every time she starts it, these 2 RUNDLL errors come up.

I can't even find what these go to (went to) but I also read crap about RUNDLL errors being tied to spyware. I've scanned the thing 8 ways & nothing comes up.

Anybody care to show me how to properly clean those up??

TIA

yep, badware leftover - random names of executables /DLLs so that you can't research them. I would recommend installing Microsoft security essentials if you haven't already, and make run of HijackThis.

Wow!!! AT won't let me post the hijack log cuz it thinks there are more than 78 img files???

There are ZERO in a hijack log. WTF is that all about???

(facepalm)

probably it has detected "img" text in your log too many times.

Well, that's what's funny is that I even Ctrl+F to see if I wasn't seeing something like that, but it wasn't there. I don't know what was going on......BUT......CCleaner did the job. It also cleaned up some other junk too. Nice program! (less scary than other reg cleaners) And, yes, I did backup the registry just to be safe.

🙂 Thanks guys!
