I am trying to install the new 1218 build of the Windows XP 64 bit edition and I am running into some difficulty. As soon as the RAID and ASR file setup runs I get the following error:
"File \AMD64\ntkrnlmp.exe could not be loaded. The error code is 7. Setup cannot continue. Press any key to exit."
I know there have been similar issues to this with XP Pro etc. and they had to do with ACPI and a variety of IRQ conflicts etc, but I really need some help figuring this one out!! I have burned the image 3 times and always get the same error. Kind of stuck at a dead end here, any advice would be greatly greatly appreciated. My rig is as follows:
MSI K8N Neo Platinum nForce3 250 gb Mobo
Athlon64 3200+ Retail Box/Fan
1 gig OCZ Enhanced Latency Memory PC3500
Nvidia GeForce 6800 GT 256 mb
Sound Blaster Audigy Gamer sound card
Teac 40x CD burner
Sony 16x DVD drive
1.44 Floppy
