The asrock is a mini-pcie not mSATA, listed in specs as pci-e and all mSATA cards are full height and the slot is half height.

Hehe, as i found the hard way, mSata is NOT the same as mini PCI-e, they are SATA interface that borrows the mini PCI-E physical connector form factor.
