Error Getting Bitmap Object

My daughter was using my computer and now every time I open an explorer browser window I get the error "Error Getting Bitmap Object", any ideas? I hit ok and everything works fine after that until I need another window open.

Are you making reference to Internet Explorer and web browsing or Windows Explorer, if it's Internet check to see what your viewer is set for BMP.
It may be set to Internet Explorer, try switching it to MSPAINT.
Not sure if this is of any help.
