Error extracting info from Toshiba CD ROM when trying to copy CD's

Using Adaptec CD Creator, just got done installing Windows ME and my adaptec everything is set, I can play games with my CD rom read info everythings a go. Only problme is when I set my CD rom to do its tests for Data Transfer it says ERROR READING: CANNOT EXTRACT INFORMATION: then it goes on to do an audio extraction and reads those tracks just fine...I play games on this CD Rom just fine checked my settings...DMA is checked everything else is working fine what can I change under adaptec or whatever so that I can copy CD's please help guys!

Change EZCD creator, It is next to useless with copy protection. You have a good reader, what burner do you have? if it is on CloneCD recommended list then use CloneCD for duplicating disks.

Use Nero for the rest. I suggest you dont have EZCD &amp; Nero on the same system, something about a file need to be renamed.

There are common complaints about EZCD Creator and Nero coexisting together ... incompatibilities of some sort which is why most people junk the Adaptec and keep the Nero.
