error code 578 when I try to change my email addr??

Whenever I attempt to change the email address in my profile I get the a popup error message saying "You do not have permission to access this forum. Error code 578". Then I'm logged out.

For the life of me, I cannot see that I'm doing anything wrong. How is one supposed to change their email address?

Oh for pity's sake!! OK, yes, I use a yahoo.com email address.

Can a moderator make the update for me? The yahoo address really is my main email. I don't check the other email address that often and it's very inconvenient to get reply notifications sent to it.

What do you want them to update? They won't allow you to use a yahoo email address. Gmail is good if you need a free one.

I guess it's still by invitation since, when I check my email there, it says I have 98 invites left.
