Error 734 in XP

Here's one for everyone. I have XP on 2 computers and they are connected to netgear rt314 router. I use an ethernet modem to connect to Bellsouth.net. 2 nights ago, I went to log using PPPoE and was able to connect. When I attempted to connect w/the other machine, I received error 734 The PPP control Protocol terminated. I followed the steps from the MS knowledge base but I'm still getting the same error.
Has anyone else had this problem?😕
