Error 25010 - Could not locate "Microsoft Test Root Authority

Hi
My network has TrendMicro Antivirus and replacing with Symantec Antivirus software, but some machines are having error

Error 25010. Could not locate "Microsoft Test Root Authority" certificate in "Trusted Root Certification Authorities" store. It is required for this build of Symantec Endpoint Protection. Please install it and retry Symantec Endpoint Protection installation.

Please let me know how to fix this.

If neither of those help solve your problem, I would contact Symantec.

Just for reference, I have had Symantec Endpoint Protection installed in my environment for 5+ years, and my machines don't have a Microsoft Test Root Authority cert in Trusted Root CAs.

Where did you get your installer from?

Also, what have you done to make sure that the Trend Micro client is completely removed from the PC before installing SEP?
