-> Error 1324 installing Norton Internet Security 2002 <-

I have tried installing Norton Internet Security from my CD several times, but every time I get an error:

Error 1324. The Folder Path "My Documents" contains an invalid character

What is this? I need to install this product ASAP, what is it talking about? I can't find it anywhere in the solutions book. thanks for any help!

That error is a Windows installer error. Hit google for Error 1324, you'll find ALOT of references. Anything weird about your login name, paths, etc?

Right. I have searched for hours, but anything I find, like make sure you have the right version and your computer is fast enough, doesn't relate to me (I have the latest version, 2002, and 1.7 ghz with gigs of space). I'm at a loose enc, and my broadband connection is dangerous! 🙂 help if you know anything! I don't really want t return it, so is there anything else I can do?

What OS, what is your login name, etc? It actually sounds like some corruption in the Windows installer database, but I'm hoping we can find another explanation.
