saw this on another site, thought I'd share

http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/doc/sks/4514490941.html

Former U.S. Representative for Virginia's 7th congressional district, serving since 2001, served as Minority Whip from 2009-2011 and Majority Leader from 2011 - June 10, 2014 when I was handed one of the most embarrassing losses in modern political history. Really regret opposing the extension of unemployment benefits now and calling the Tea Party "a tremendous positive influence" in 2010.

Will count votes (badly) for food.

do NOT contact me with unsolicited services or offers

I know it will be pulled so the quote.

This is a good thing. Maybe it will remind the others to actually pay attention to the folks back home rather than just buying seats every two years. No one should stay in either chamber fourteen years anyway.

Got a hunch that Brat will be a one-termer though, assuming he doesn't self-destruct during the general.

Oddly enough the democrat nominee is also a college professor from the same school.

Gotta love choices!

to the left, anyone not a democrat is an extremist.

Unlike Obama who doesn't think this vote was about illegal immigration, a huge part of it was about all the illegals streaming in.

Obama's policies have created a lawless state where we are getting tens of thousands of new 'dreamers' flooding the border simple because the executive branch refuses to enforce the laws. Cantor was just the republican version of Obama on immigration. Deep in the pockets of big business instead of being for the citizen workers. Just like Obama is in the pocket of the Hispanic vote that wants millions of slave labors made legal.

You anti-immigrant folks really need to get out and let other Americans know where you stand on this issue! Raise hell! Keep pointing out how the lazy, dirty immigrants are destroying the beautiful glistening white America that you love! Get out there and protest! Primary the immigrant-loving Republican politicians and replace them with people with your views. Your POV is exactly what the Republican party needs...

to finally destroy itself. Keep up the good work!

Cantors district went for Romney by 15 points. The only way the democrat wins is if he mounts a write-in campaign.

While it's funny to see cantor gone, this is really just another example of the primary system gone haywire.

What we need is liberal open border policies lets continue to import millions of wage destroying slave labors who's overwhelming presence is keeping the cost of manual labor low.

And then on top of that we need to open the flood gates on 'STEM' immigrants to. Cant have those wages going up.

This has nothing to do with race. It has everything to do with a nation being able to control its borders, and controlling who enters and who doesn't.

If tens of thosands of kids can enter the country illegally, we do not have a secure border. If we have a president that refuses to deport kids, and gives them amnesty we invite more illegal immigration.

But please tell me, how increasing the work force by millions of farm hands willing to work next to nothing is good for America? Because its not, its just holding down wages, holding back automation and advancement.

And please find me evidence of this shortage of STEM workers that big business is touting as justification for importing more workers. Are the wages of scientists, engineers etc exploding due to this shortage? Don't think so.

But you know you have a winning argument when the only thing you go on is emotions and the false flag of racism.

And after you grant amnesty to all the people who got here illegally, make sure you say "sorry bout that" to all the people who went through the system legally.

Democrats are ecstatic about the Cantor loss BECAUSE they know in the end these tea baggers NEVER WIN in an open election when sane people can also vote.
The country wants advancement on social issues, fair taxes, fair wages, immigration reform yes I'll repeat that "IMMIGRATION REFORM".
Eric lost to the tea party.
The same tea party people that want to bring guns into Walmart's and movie theaters.
The same tea people that believe in social superiority over others.
The same tea people that hate Hispanics, Blacks, Gays, women, college students, scientist, unions and the middle class.
And THAT is why democrats are today ecstatic.
So the tea baggers get a few red neck backwards hillbillies to vote for them.
The tea baggers are also up against thousands and millions of sane people including hispanics, women, gays, educated people, that will vote against them.
And THAT is why democrats are today absolutely ecstatic.
I'm kinda tickled pink myself.... ;)

To both of you morans:

Did I ever say I wanted to give amnesty to illegal immigrants? No, I did not. I will say that I'm not for blanket amnesty but something does have to be done and IMO mass deportations are not the answer. All I said was that you folks need to step it up and raise more hell! For example, there are around 50,000 Hispanic-Americans who reach voting age every single month. That's about 600,000 a year. Be sure to reach out to them and let them know how you feel about immigration. While I'm sure some will agree with you I'll bet that most won't.

What I really enjoy laughing at is that conservative businessmen love them some cheap immigrant labor because they despise having to pay Americans a fair wage, while conservative voters back American businesses paying shit wages and hate on "immigrants who are stealing their jobs".

What a winning dynamic!

Hell yes it's a good thing. There are two ways for conservatives to lose and lose big. One way is to keep electing "prog lite" candidates. There is an abundance of them right now and it's why nothing gets fixed in D.C. Everybody postures one way but willingly jumps on board the status quo train as it chugs slowly around going nowhere and changing nothing. The other way is to lose to prog candidates. Either way, conservatives lose.

The only way to win is to offer up candidates that think differently and that are willing to hold to their principles. The country needs two options. One with the leftist point of view and the other with a conservative point of view. If the conservative viewpoint cannot obtain a majority that has enough influence to make changes, it is not a loss, it's just a continuance of the current system where we all lose.

A member of the status quo lost. For conservatives, that's a win. I don't live in Virginia and I most certainly did not follow the race but pushing for amnesty while tens of thousands of children are streaming over our borders is a guaranteed loss for a Republican candidate.

The current border situation should have a thread of its own and I'm really surprised it doesn't.

It's funny to see the crazies still trying to describe the furthest right candidates in American history as insufficiently conservative. What do you do when the people voting in republican primaries have simply lost connection with reality?

For all intents and purposes, Cantor was as much of a Tea Party candidate as anyone else.

If amnesty, obamacare, and trillion dollar deficits in perpetuity are "the farthest right" positions I'd hate to see what the democrats are really in favor of, lol.

Not only that but Cantor was at a starbucks in DC on election day bragging he spent a lot of money to win by a large number.

I don't care what party you pull for but if your guy is bragging about winning because of his money and does not even stay in their district all day for voting they deserve to lose.
