I might wake up early tomorrow to pick one up, but the OD website is reporting it at the full price

It'll last until they are completely sold out.

Does anybody know if this will work with a HannsG HU196D? I've searched all over the place, but I can't find what hole pattern it has. It says VESA External Mounting compatible, but I just want to make sure. Either way, I think I'll buy two of these. :) Thanks OP!

Well, in for two. I hope they don't actually make me wait the 4 hours they ask before pickup because I want to pick them up on my way home from work this morning and the store opens at 0800!

Ya gotta do the 'Store Pick Up' trick:

1) Go to OfficeDepot.com
2) select "view cart"
3) select "pick up at store"
4) "find a store" will come up. select one.
5) enter sku ###### in the search field on next page

When I did this, I saw the $23 price at all but 1 store in my area. Non of the stores let me order for pickup. I'm not sure if this means they have 0 in stock or if it's just not possible to order for store pick since this item is no longer stocked. I did physically go to the closest store to me but did not find any there.

It seems if the item is in stock you should be able to order for in store pickup. I found it available 75 miles away :(

The first time I tried to add it to my cart for pickup it wouldn't let me, but I tried again and it let me order it. Same store and everything. I don't know what changed, but I picked them up from OD this morning.

I just got done installing this thing and I must say it's pretty awesome. I have a load more desktop space, I can swing my monitor out of the way easily and I can easily adjust the monitor so I can watch movies while I'm in bed. Before I had to move the keyboard out of the way, turn the monitor, and then prop the monitor stand up on some 9 volt batteries that I daisy chained together to tilt it down enough.

I had one problem connecting it to my HannsG HU196D. The top two mounting holes on the monitor were not tapped deep enough. I'm sure this was a fault in the monitor and not the arm because all the screws were the same length and they all worked in the bottom two holes. I easily solved the problem by cutting one of the spacers that is included with the arm in two and using them to space the top screws out a little bit. Just a heads up if you plan on using this with a HannsG HU196D.

I called my local OD and asked if the item was in stock by its name, but the guy on the phone said the item was only available online, so I hanged up. Tried several other places but this time with the SKU# and they said they are out. So I decided to try out the SKU# on the first place I called and the lady on the phone said they had 2 in stock.

Drove over there, was gonna take one but decided to get both since its a great clearance deal. Now the Whitestone area in NY is sold out :D

It's better to just call up your local OD and ask if they have the item in stock and drive there.

Now I have a Chimei 22" WS and I'm hoping this thing fits when I set it up later tonight

:Q never call. I know a guy who has 3 jobs. #1 is his day job, #2 is PT at OD, and #3 is selling stuff on ebay during job #1 that he bought from job #2. He is prolly the guy you talked to at the 1st store. :p
He gets markdown lists so he sees a lot of this, but doesn't equate value to a lot of it. calling and showing interest in a clearance item alerts him to the value.

Is there a "standard" area of an Office Depot store where they put clearance items?

How good is their online inventory system? I placed an order yesterday and was going to pick it up this morning but they deleted it for "inventory reasons". I was, however able to place another order online. I'm just wondering if they really don't have it or some jack is trying to keep it for him/herself. I don't want to drive over an hour to get there if it's not gonna be there.

In this case I'd highly recommend you let your fingers do the driving by picking up the phone.

I called and they said they didn't have any, but it's tough to know on these clearance deals how much the people answering the phone really know. Sometimes they just have the stuff sitting somewhere and the person may not know where it is. They see it listed in the system, but figure it's just a glitch or something.

It was on the shelf at my OD for $109. I brought it up to the cashier and asked if there was a sale on the item, she checked with the scanner and said $23.04. This is Sacramento, CA next to the Costco. There were 3 left on the shelf after I bought one.

I ordered two for in-store pickup, so let's see if they actually still have them when I go to pick them up in a couple days.

I called my local OD yesterday and asked for the product by name. After 12 minutes on hold I was told that they were not in stock. Got the OD sku number off of the website, called back and after another 10 minutes on hold was once again told that they didn't have any.

Today I read the "store pick-up" trick posted by Onund and decided to try it. My store pick-up order appeared to go through just fine so I waited about 2 hours while my order was being "filled" and then went ahead to OD. Lo' and behold I go to the Monitor aisle and there sits 6 on the shelf. They had been there the whole time!!!!:| Needless to say, I got my Neo-flex and the unfortunate assistant manager got an earfull - politely, of course.

Moral of the story, if you really want one of these try the "store pick-up" trick. Don't trust a phone call or even two.

I have installed the Neo flex and it works great, very sturdy and stable. Takes about 15 minutes to install.

I have a 22" Chimei Widescreen which weighs in at 10lbs.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH OP, this is by far the best deal I have jumped in on, just awsome. :D

i got one of those 24 inch soyo monitors which weighs according to the specs page around 13-14 pounds...

this is supposed to be able to support close to 18 or less...

i got it to work but had to angle it in a weird way... nonetheless... this was a good purchase! :)
