ergonomic keyboard recomend

Me again. I'm upgrading seemingly all my peripherals. I need an ergonomic keyboard. Any advice? USB and wired is a plus, low cost is also good. I'm thinking the Microsoft Natural Ergo Keyboard 4000, but don't know anyone who has one to recommend it.

I love ergonomic keyboard, have gone through probably 4 or 5 in the last five or 6 years. I have had basic, multimedia, wired, wireless. I am currently using the 4000 and have had it for about 18 months now with no complaints. Reliable and has most functions, which also have worked fine in OS X so far. I recommend it!

I use a Cherry mini keyboard and a separate, Staples USB keypad/calc. (I have some for sale in my FS/T thread - linked in the sig of this message, below) on the left so my trackball is just to the right of the home row, so I can be perfectly lined up with the kbdd. A good stiff key pressure is better than most of the curved (or other ergo) kbds. My back is my main problem in using a standard layout (numpad on right) keyboard in the space I have. I've not had much back pain since I started using this configuration - here's a pic: http://i52.photobucket.com/alb...staplesNumPadInUse.jpg. I was using one of the few kbds with the numpad on the left for a while, but its construction quality was junky and the keystroke wasn't stiff enough - stiffness tires the hands so you naturally take a break. With soft kbds, you have to set a timer and follow it for typing breaks.
