Does anyone play eRepublik?
It's a globally played textbased MMO / virtual simulation of life. Within the game, you can chose many career aspects, whether they be through politics, finance, or the military, the choices are endless.

The eUSA is under attack (and we're losing badly), we've lost all our states except Florida and Alabama to Indonesia, Russia and Portugal.
It takes about a week before you're leveled up enough to fight (you can only do a few things each day).
