Ecost and Buy.com has run several of these promotions where the rebate isn't strictly a rebate, you have to join a club or subscribe to a service, in this case Fun Club, and you get the first month free, as long as you cancel you aren't charged a membership fee. Only after signing up are you eligible for the rebate. So you aren't really getting the rebate for buying the item, you are getting the rebate for buying the item AND signing up for the service. Not quite the same as a straight rebate. Just a word for the wise.

It's Easy to Get Your Cash Back:
1. Try Great Fun, Risk Free, by completing, signing and mailing the form below to:
Affinion Group, 100 Connecticut Ave, MS: N-23, Attention: Rebate Offer
Norwalk, CT 06850-3561.
2. Follow the directions in the email we'll send you at the beginning of your Free trial to print
out and redeem your $25.00 Cash-Back rebate. It's that easy ? and there's no obligation to continue, ever.

Yeah, I'd feel much more comfortable knowing in advance just how easy it is to cancel this membership, BEFORE signing up for it. Also, you mail in the form to join their club, and only then do you get to print out the rebate form, which then has to be mailed in.........

So you're just waiting longer for the rebate, AND having to deal with cancelling a membership? Thanks for posting the deal, OP, but I think I'd have to pass on such a deal.
