Erase ID3 tags in mp3 files?

Is there a program that can wipe out the ID3 tags in mp3 files? Something that can wipe out the ids from all my mp3s in one shot? I ask because on my ipod if the info is wrong or some nonsence it come out wrong in the playlist and I dont want to do this manually. Thanks.

i dunno where your files are stored or anything. But they are stored in 1 directory you can use


mp3INFO it can edit tags of any mp3 in it's directory. really fast and really small.

Yes, but a lot of the IDs come up as track one instead on the name of the song.

Why don't you fix the tags instead of removing them? Have you used the musicbrainz tagger?

Because I have 1000s that dont want to fix and removing them is a helluva alot easier.

did you even look at my link above? It looks up ID3 tags and fixes them for you over the internet. It's like CDDB for MP3s.

Yes I tried mudicbrainz. It appears to work, 90%. Thanks.
