In windows 7, what is the equivalent to the i386 folder which contains the install files of Windows? I'm used to installing Windows XP, but I'm actually installing 7 for a client, and to avoid it from nagging for the CD in the future, I always copy the install files over. What folder should I be copying? Or do I just copy the whole DVD over? This is 64-bit if it matters.

Is the client connected to the internet via broadband? If so, then 7 will download whatever they need when they need it.

The nice thing about 7 is it install everything and will just turn on whats needed. It will not ask for any cd

That's good to know. I wont worry about it then. I'm just used to XP and below randomly asking for a CD for certain stuff like driver installs and what not, so I usually preset it so it takes from the C drive. Helps reduce "help desk" calls. ;) I'm actually quite impressed with 7, it detected everything and all. Was a fast install too. Not my first time installing it, but it's been a while since I've had the chance. I'm glad to see some people are finally ditching their P3's for newer machines.
