What are the essential equipment needed for wireless network connection?

It depends on what your needs are. If you just need a simple wireless connection for a single computer, then you need a wireless router and a wireless network card for the computer (if it does not already have one).

As the needs increase (more devices, larger area, extra security, etc.) then the complexity of the system will also increase.
