How would having more than one large monitor help ? D:

Increased Field of view? (which might help depending on the game)

Hardware companies want to sell monitors (among other things)....so hashing this out on a competitive level might make sense to them. (I am not sure how many people are really interested in maximum extreme hardware. Most people probably want to see how the mainstream stuff performs in competition. This is the biggest market)

These are tricks that broke nerds on ancient hardware use, not anything a real gamer would do.

You should run 3 42" monitors (crt) and spread 640x480 pixels across them so that you will have hit boxes as large as your fist. Only then will you be a master :hmm:
