does anyone know of software that can save eq settings onto the mp3 file?

i have this 256mb mp3 player and it lacks bass, i want to pre-equalise the mp3's before transferring them onto the mp3 player.

I'm pretty sure that's not possible.

foobar2000 will let you do this pretty easily.
Best to convert direct from uncompressed files to equalized mp3s.
