EQ2 Expansion Announced...

With the announcement of a new expansion planned for EQ2 was curious what you guys were thinking.

Seems there will be some duel areas similar to the arena spots in EQ1. Also a new city.

Just thought I would see what you guys all thought of it. I'm at work so I cant read much about it as most gaming sites are blocked - so any info you can post into this thread would be great too.


Please try and keep the anti SOE comments to a minimum - everyone knows you hate them Gurck.
 
very true - after killing basically all but 2 of the mobs left in the game there isnt a whole lot left for me to finish. I am looking forward to it - but not sure if it is really going to make things much different - raiding is raiding is raiding...lol
 
And so it begins. I think sony found a never ending cash cow buisness model.

1)Make game and charge monthly
2) release expansions ever 3-6 months for 3-5 years
3) Profit
4) repeat by making a new graphics engine and reselling them the same game.
