ePSXe Emulator

I have a few different PSX emulators so I can play my older, more rare games, without running risk of damaging the game. Well, a few of them like psxfin has a Fast Forward option for those longer cutscenes (Valyrie Profile, for example, takes 48 minutes before you actually start the game). ePSXe, however, does not and is the only emulator I have that can run Suikoden II.

Does anyone know if there is a way or an option that will allow a type of "fast forward" function? Since ePSXe relies solely on plugins, I assume that there is one available that creates / gives such a function that I seek.

Any other information on other emulators that could run Suikoden II without the trouble of configuring plugins that also contains a fast forward function will be greatly appreciated.

Well, it took a lot of tweaking, but I finally was able to keep the frame rate boosted. Before, when I would try to set it higher than default (300 for example), it would revert back to default, or just crash the emulator.
