Shipping prices:

Ground Service - $9.95 (Arrives within 6 - 10 days)
2 Day Service - $29.95 (Arrives within 2 business days)
Standard Overnight - $39.95 (Arrives next business day)

Total with Ground Shipping came up to $119.94. My R220 just died, awesome timing  My wife uses the CD/DVD printing feature all the time to make photography discs for her clients; SuperMediaStore has some great prices on both White and Silver printable inkjet discs. You can also get really cheap ink through Swiftink.com or Swiftinks.com (can't remember which I use, but their inks are BETTER than Epson's inks lol, not to mention cheaper!).

Also funboy6942, are you familiar with the Paypal Credit Card Plugin? At the Paypal homepage (after logging in), click on "PayPal Plug-in" and on the next page click on "Secure Cards". You can generate a one-time use Mastercard that pulls money from your Bank Account. Just cut and paste the virtual CC info into the Epson checkout form. I just did it and it works fine on Epson's site.

No I did not know about this, THANK YOU!!!!!

BTW they have this also in the clearance section for $99 shipped too as a refurb which my last 2 were refurbs, a r200 and my now R340 which both still work to this day at 6 and 3 years old. I want this one so I can get rid of my scanner I got from them as well as a refurb for $35. Like how I can have it all together in one spot and still do up dvds for the people I transfer their VHS memories for. That in itself is a priceless feature along with no ink with the print heads built in, whole set of inks can be had for under $40 shipped.

:D

Yeah it's an awesome trick. ALSO, you can generate a Multi-Use card if you want to use it on say Newegg every time you order. My only complaint is that they left out a key feature - you can't name the credit card! (like "Newegg" card or something). So I mostly stick with single-use cards. They also have an actual browser plugin that you can download that will generate numbers on the fly. I was on the beta program for it and I don't think they've done a good enough job advertising it - it's sitting there in plain site and yet no one knows about it haha. Their browser plugin also keeps tracks of receipts and stuff, it's REALLY handy.

Personally I only have 3 things that touch my bank account: my Paypal account, my Credit Card, and my ING Account. In real life, I only use a Credit Card for purchases, just in case the number is ever stolen. My Debit Card number was stolen not once, but twice, and it was a real pain in the neck getting the bank to deal with it, whereas Credit Card companies are used to it and even have alarm systems that trigger if your card is being used in a funny way, like multiple purchases halfway across the nation from where you live. Then only, I only use Paypal, and if Paypal isn't an option, I use the Secure Cards checkout. And finally ING for my computer savings account.

You may enjoy reading one of my blog articles: "Howto: Shop online smarter and safer" - has some useful info on tricks like the Paypal Virtual Credit Card and getting online coupons like from RetailMeNot.com:

Although I need to update it to include Microsoft's wonderful Live! Cashback program, which gives you 1-6% cashback on normal purchases from Newegg and stuff. And just for fun, this is how I use my ING account to save up for my computer systems:

Hey thank you too! I've been wanting an RX680 for a long time - I used to sell them when i worked at Staples. They were ridiculously expensive then however, I remember them being in the hundreds of dollars. The print quality is absolutely fabulous, however. In fact, I rarely use LightScribe anymore because it's faster to just pop in a CD to print.

If you're a Mac user, Smile on my Mac has a great app called DiscLabel that lets you do some great CD and DVD prints. Epson includes a free Windows app if you're a Windows user. Here's a link to the Mac software:

http://www.smileonmymac.com/DiscLabel/

SuperMediaStore has an entire section for printable discs. I'd post a link, but apparently they are banned on AT (? I've never had a problem with them). They have printable CD-R, DVD-R, and DVD+R discs in both silver and white.

I get my inks from Swift Ink. The cartridges are $5.95 each (including black!) and you get free shipping on orders over $50 (it costs $37.50 for a full set from Swift Ink, so order some spare black cartridges or something):

http://www.swiftink.com/index....80&btnSearch=GO&Page=1

There are also some killer deals here in Hot Deals on Swift Inks. The first is "Buy 1 Get 1 Free", which has no limit - buy 2 get 2 free, buy 3 get 3 free, as long as it's the same model and color as the purchased cartridge. The code is "B1G1FREE". The other coupon is for 20% off your entire order; the code is "ANAND20". So basically you can buy $50 worth of ink and get free shipping and 20% off for a total of $40 shipped. I should point out that Newegg charges $13.99 + $3.99 shipping for the black cartridge and $54.99 plus $8.25 shipping for the color multi-pack...that's $68.98 plus $11.60 shipping for a total of $80.58 shipped for a full set of Epson cartridges vs. $30 plus shipping for Swift Ink inks (with the 20% off coupon, plus you can just order 3 more cartridges to get free shipping).
