it doesn't give any information on how fast it prints in color, b/w, etc.
i'm not sure if it prints photos only or not

It can print stuff other than just photos. However from what I hear, it's fairly slow when it comes to printing normal stuff... at least slower than their other printers.

It's not too slow, for $75, I'd definitely keep it!

I had the 850 previous to my 875, yes it is slightly slower but this should help reduce the mechanical wear and the pictures are unbeatable. I have yet to see any other manufacturers printer match the photo-reproduction.
