Epson Stylus Color 740 problem...

I have an epson stylus color thats worked fine for a year til now. recently I replaced the printer cartridges with genuine epson replacement carts, it printed fine for a week, then today I went to go use it and voila...no ink in the black cart, and very little ink in the color cart. I think its leaked all underneath where the carts are held by the printer....what the hell could be causing this? Just seems to drain slowly, and then drain completely out. Anyone know how to fix this problem?
