EPSON scanners with XP?

Anyone using EPSON scanners with Win XP? I have a Perfection 636 SCSI and I have had no luck installing it using W2K drivers. No XP drivers available. Any ideas?

Digital signatures have nothing to do with the device functioning under the OS. Epson has a large list scanners that will function just fine under Win XP. It just so happens that your old workhorse is not on their list yet. Try using the NT drivers.

Heh, my C80 works great too. 🙂

*He is wanting to know about scanners, not printers. 😀

DOH!!

NFS4 steps AWAY from the pipe.

My EPSON 636u works ok in XP, but its the USB ver and not the SCSI. Im using the Win2k drivers. The only thing that does not work right is when I close photoshop after scanning stuff into it, I have to reboot the computer to get the scanner to work again. I hope they come out with some WinXP drivers 😀

So does my new C70 under XP 😉. Anyway even with Scanners you should be able to use the Win2k drivers they may not be digitally signed but they should work still.,if no go then try XP default ones if they don`t work then you will have to wait.

I'm getting a 1650 Photo for Xmas (wifey wrapped it up already). I know Epson has new Twain drivers for XP for this model I'm not sure about the other models though. Might want to take a look at Epsons Driver page.
