my epson stylus 650 gives me an error message lately:
can't send info to the printer. I changed the cable, tried uninstalling and reinstalling the printer..no go. Have hooked up my ansient 24 dot matrix and it goes fine. Anyone have a clue?
 
Delete the printer Icon and add it again. Sometimes this mysteriously fixes the problem. Just point it back to the windows/system folder if it asks for path to drivers.
 
You can reset the ROM by powering it off, holding the paper feed button for a few seconds, turn it back on, and press the paper feed button once again. Hope I explained that right.
